we are in for one fun ride!
I wanted to take some time to introduce myself for all of you who may have no idea who I am. My name is Leah Michelle. I am a Registered Nurse starting a new career in the field of dermatology. As well, I am a Human Design and Self-Love Guide. These two ventures may not seem related, and they aren’t exactly, however they are my passions and this is what makes them both something I absolutely love to do. I am someone who loves having a job, even though I pushed against this part of myself for a long time, especially when I started my entrepreneurial journey. Because of course, I also love having my own business. What I didn’t realize was I am allowed to do both! No one talks about this enough but I know I am here to break the rules and to go first allowing you the permission to be yourself in all of who you are. No more hiding!
Why I decided to create this subscription:
I am also a very creative soul. I grew up in dance and taking singing lessons all of my life. But my biggest creative passion comes in writing. I used to spend most of my time writing poems and chapter books as a child, and I always knew one day I would write a book (which I promise is coming very soon!) Overtime though, I put a lot of focus into my work and business, that I forgot to make time for the other things I am truly passionate about.
I received an intuitive hit months ago to open myself up to blogging. I have a blog that I have been posting on here and there over the past few years, but it is not something I am consistent with. My coach shared Substack with me and I was instantly drawn to it. However, something was holding me back from posting. I love Instagram and I use it religiously for my coaching business. I also host a Podcast called “Evolve and Align” (you can find it here if you’re someone who loves podcasts!) that is also related to Human Design, self-love, wellness, and business (among many other important topics). I then came to the realizatiton that I would love to use Substack as a space to allow my true creativity and passion for creative writing and poetry to live and to be shared with others. My business has it’s home, now so do my creative ventures.
Who is this subscription for?
This subscription is not only for those who are interested in Human Design, self-love, beauty and wellness, but it is for anyone who is going through change, challenges, and evolutions through their life (so, all of us). If you love to read and to be moved by words, this is the place for you.
